Andermatt has established a new subsidiary in Barcelona, Spain, called Andermatt Iberia S.L.U.
For many years, several Andermatt products have been approved and made available to fruit and vegetables growers in Spain and Portugal, such as our baculovirus products, Rhizovital, Curatio and Vitisan. With this new subsidiary, Andermatt is excited to develop a powerful portfolio of biological solutions for farmers in Spain and Portugal. We are pleased to announce that Juan Rodriguez Martin will be joining Andermatt Iberia as CEO of Andermatt Iberia. Juan has a 22 years long experience on biological crop protection. He has been recently working as technical manager in different companies, coordinating the marketing and R&D activities of novel biopesticides based on microorganisms, plant extracts and natural substances.
Juan is passionate about biological crop protection and strongly believes it is the only way forward: “I foresee a bright future of Andermatt Iberia. The Iberian Peninsula is one of the most important production areas for fresh produce in Europe. Growers are looking for alternative reliable quality crop protection solutions which is precisely what the Andermatt Group specialises on.
