Now With Patent-Confirmed Cold Tolerance
RhizoVital® C5, our proven Bacillus atrophaeus biostimulant, has reached an exciting new milestone. The Bacillus atrophaeus ABi05 used in RhizoVital® C5 is now patent-confirmed as cold-tolerant – delivering measurable benefits to crops even at soil temperatures as low as 8 °C. This sets it apart from other Bacillus strains, which typically only become active at around 12 °C.
With its newly confirmed patent and growing global footprint, RhizoVital® C5 is strengthening its position in the market. In Europe, the product is gaining a unified European brand, with national registrations or mutual recognitions already secured in countries including Portugal, Spain, France, Belgium, Austria, Germany and Poland. Internationally, RhizoVital® C5 is also available in Canada under the name C5 Tundrabac®.

Why This Matters
Early root establishment is critical for crop performance. By starting to work at lower soil temperatures, RhizoVital® C5 gives crops a head start when it counts most – during cool early spring or late autumn planting. This can be especially valuable in regions with short growing seasons or fluctuating weather patterns.
With the confirmed patent and expanded market presence, RhizoVital® C5 continues to demonstrate Andermatt’s commitment to innovative, science-backed solutions for sustainable agriculture.
