On June 18 and 19, 2025, the Organic Field Days – one of the most important events for organic farmers in Germany – took place at the Bioland farm Wassergut Canitz in Saxony. The event is organized by FiBL Projekte GmbH in cooperation with the Saxon Ministry of Energy, Climate Protection, Environment and Agriculture. It offers a comprehensive insight into current developments in all fields of organic farming.
With over 360 exhibitors and around 10,000 visitors, the interest was greater than ever before. Experts from practice, consulting, research and politics exchanged views on topics relating to organic crop cultivation, animal husbandry, innovative agricultural technology, agrivoltaics and resource-saving irrigation. The main interest of the visitors at Biofa’s booth was crop protection and the control of potato beetles. We had numerous interesting an productive discussions with customers and consultants from all over Germany and abroad
Under the slogan “Harvest successfully. Store safely. Protect efficiently”, Biofa presented the most important products for traditional agriculture and animal husbandry and confirmed that Biofa is the best partner with a very wide portfolio offering solutions from sowing to harvest and storage. For the first time, a job speed dating event was held. Biofa presented itself as one of 12 employers offering interesting and future-oriented job opportunities for trainees and experts.
At this fair stakeholders from organic and conventional agriculture meet and discuss opportunities for sustainable solutions. With the strong focus on content, innovative impulses and the high level of participation, the Öko-Feldtage – Organic Field Days 2025 set a clear signal for sustainable and resilient agriculture. opportunities for sustainable solutions.
