In October 2025, Andermatt proudly participated in the International Federation of Agricultural Journalists (IFAJ) World Congress, held in Nairobi, Kenya. This annual gathering brought together 180 delegates from 34 countries—including CEOs, freelance journalists, broadcasters, researchers, and communicators—all united by a shared passion for advancing agriculture and telling the stories that matter to farmers worldwide.
Andermatt’s presence at IFAJ 2025 was guided by three clear objectives: to increase brand awareness, deepen our understanding of the global media landscape, and lay the groundwork for future partnerships.
Andermatt was proud to partner with IFAJ 2025 with a tour to the Andermatt Kenya facilities in Naivasha, offering delegates a firsthand look at our work and values in action.
As part of “Tour 4: Experience Andermatt Kenya,” our local team showcased the power of biological solutions in sustainable agriculture. Delegates learned about our holistic approach, highlighting the vital role of nature and microbes in sustainable agriculture. GM Stephen Musyoka shared his expertise in macrobial production, and participants visited the Crop Demo Trial site, where a variety of Kenyan stable crops are grown 365 days a year, ‘with’ and ‘without’ biologicals. CEO Hamish Ker’s favourite expression is, “Seeing is believing” – and this tour proved just that. The tour concluded with visits to our partners, De Reuters East Africa and Stokman Rozen, and left a lasting impression on all participants.

The congress itself was a vibrant blend of learning, networking, and cultural exchange. Delegates participated in an opening ceremony, immersive field tours, and lively discussions on topics ranging from climate change and technology to the future of agricultural journalism.
The relationships built at IFAJ 2025 have set the stage for future collaboration and media engagement. As we look ahead to upcoming congresses in Croatia and South Africa, Andermatt remains committed to supporting agricultural journalism and sharing our story with the world.
