Placez le Varrox Eddy \u00e0 travers l'ouverture de vol de 15mm x 90mm sous la grappe d'abeilles. Fermez l'ouverture du vol avec des bandes d'\u00e9ponge ou un tissu humide. D\u00e9marrez le Varrox Eddy par une simple pression sur le bouton de d\u00e9marrage et \u00e9loignez-vous jusqu'\u00e0 ce que l'appareil affiche une lumi\u00e8re verte. Retirez le Varrox Eddy et d\u00e9posez le creuset encore chaud dans un seau d'eau froide pour le refroidir. Pendant ce temps, vous pouvez traiter la colonie suivante en utilisant le deuxi\u00e8me creuset. Refermez l'ouverture du vol pendant encore dix minutes apr\u00e8s le traitement. Lorsqu'il est \u00e9vapor\u00e9 avec le Varrox et le Varrox Eddy, les fum\u00e9es se recondensent sous forme d'acide oxalique dihydrat\u00e9 sur les abeilles et les rayons. Les fines aiguilles cristallines tuent les Varroa apr\u00e8s contact seulement. Les varroas dans les cellules de couvain scell\u00e9es ne seront pas affect\u00e9s par l'acide oxalique puisqu'il n'y a pas de contact physique avec l'acide oxalique. La chute des acariens Varroa atteint son maximum le deuxi\u00e8me jour.<br>L'acide oxalique dihydrat\u00e9 s'\u00e9vapore en deux \u00e9tapes et se d\u00e9compose \u00e0 haute temp\u00e9rature en vapeurs inactives.
