Nomu-Protec se basa en el hongo entomopat\u00f3geno Metarhizium rileyi<\/em> (anteriormente conocido como Nomuraea rileyi<\/em>) que infecta y controla las plagas de insectos lepid\u00f3pteros, especialmente los de la familia Noctuidae. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

El rango de hospedaje incluye el gusano militar de oto\u00f1o, de gran importancia econ\u00f3mica (Spodoptera frugiperda)<\/em> y el gusano cogollero africano (Helicoverpa armigera)<\/em> entre otros. La formulaci\u00f3n exclusiva de Nomu-Protec impide que las esporas de los hongos se sequen y favorece la infecci\u00f3n de las plagas. En numerosas pruebas de campo, Nomu-Protec demostr\u00f3 ser muy eficaz, revelando una disminuci\u00f3n significativa de la poblaci\u00f3n de plagas. Nomu-Protec tambi\u00e9n muestra una reducci\u00f3n efectiva de los da\u00f1os por alimentaci\u00f3n poco despu\u00e9s de la infecci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
