Tutavir\u00ae es una soluci\u00f3n novedosa y muy espec\u00edfica para la gesti\u00f3n de Tuta absoluta, una plaga importante en el cultivo del tomate. Este producto a base de virus no es t\u00f3xico, no deja residuos y se integra f\u00e1cilmente en los programas de pulverizaci\u00f3n de los agricultores. Es altamente compatible con insectos beneficiosos y otros productos fitosanitarios, lo que lo convierte en una herramienta excelente para la gesti\u00f3n de la resistencia. Al reducir tanto los da\u00f1os a los cultivos como las poblaciones de plagas, PhopGV proporciona a los cultivadores una alternativa biol\u00f3gica sostenible y eficaz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esta aprobaci\u00f3n es el resultado de un extenso y costoso proceso normativo, que pone de manifiesto los retos a los que se enfrenta la comercializaci\u00f3n de soluciones biol\u00f3gicas innovadoras. A pesar de su perfil de bajo riesgo, el proceso de aprobaci\u00f3n llev\u00f3 mucho m\u00e1s tiempo y cost\u00f3 el doble de lo previsto. Esto suscita preocupaci\u00f3n por la ineficacia de la normativa, sobre todo teniendo en cuenta el compromiso de la UE con la agricultura sostenible. Aunque la aprobaci\u00f3n de PhopGV es un hito positivo, subraya la necesidad de v\u00edas reguladoras m\u00e1s r\u00e1pidas y eficientes para las soluciones biol\u00f3gicas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PhopGV ha sido aprobado oficialmente como <em>Betabaculovirus phoperculellae<\/em>en consonancia con el nuevo nombre de la especie ICTV para el granulovirus Phthorimaea operculella.
