Esta historia de \u00e9xito muestra la investigaci\u00f3n y los resultados positivos de los ensayos, que ahora benefician a los productores locales.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-container uagb-block-51612eca alignfull uagb-is-root-container\"><div class=\"uagb-container-inner-blocks-wrap\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-container uagb-block-1acf8f0a\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-container uagb-block-c164e1cc\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-advanced-heading uagb-block-9fc9c152\"><h2 class=\"uagb-heading-text\">Producci\u00f3n de caf\u00e9 en Brasil:<\/h2><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Brasil es el mayor pa\u00eds productor de caf\u00e9 del mundo, con una superficie cultivada de alrededor de 2,2 millones de hect\u00e1reas. En 2023, la producci\u00f3n fue de aproximadamente 62,6 millones de sacos de 60 kg (CONAB, 2023), constituidos principalmente por dos variedades: caf\u00e9 ar\u00e1bica (70% de la producci\u00f3n) y caf\u00e9 conil\u00f3n (30% restante).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En t\u00e9rminos de exportaciones, Brasil tambi\u00e9n lidera el mercado mundial. En 2023, el pa\u00eds export\u00f3 alrededor de 39,4 millones de sacos de caf\u00e9 (aproximadamente 2,2 millones de toneladas). Los principales destinos de las exportaciones brasile\u00f1as son Estados Unidos, Alemania, Italia, B\u00e9lgica y Jap\u00f3n, generando importantes ingresos de divisas para Brasil por cerca de US$7,22 mil millones (CONAB, 2023).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-container uagb-block-dd41ca02 alignfull uagb-is-root-container\"><div class=\"uagb-container-inner-blocks-wrap\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-container uagb-block-e1193ce3\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-advanced-heading uagb-block-292d8527\"><h2 class=\"uagb-heading-text\">El reto:<\/h2><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>La broca del caf\u00e9 (Hypothenemus hampei)<em> <\/em>es una de las plagas m\u00e1s destructivas que afectan a los caficultores brasile\u00f1os. Originaria de \u00c1frica, la broca del caf\u00e9 se introdujo en Am\u00e9rica Latina a principios del siglo XX y se extendi\u00f3 r\u00e1pidamente a las principales regiones cafetaleras, incluido Brasil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El insecto es capaz de causar da\u00f1os significativos a los granos de caf\u00e9, lo que resulta en p\u00e9rdidas de hasta un 20% en la producci\u00f3n. Adem\u00e1s del da\u00f1o cuantitativo, tambi\u00e9n perjudica la calidad de los granos, lo que repercute directamente en la calidad de la bebida.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-container uagb-block-ee763e00\"><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-advanced-heading uagb-block-e7949c51\"><h2 class=\"uagb-heading-text\">La investigaci\u00f3n y los resultados<\/h2><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Beauveria bassiana se encuentra infectando naturalmente a la broca del caf\u00e9 en Brasil,<em> <\/em>lo que fomenta su uso en el Manejo Integrado de Plagas (MIP). Tradicionalmente, los productores  llevan a cabo la producci\u00f3n de este hongo en sus granjas , logrando una calidad inconsistente y resultados de eficacia err\u00e1ticos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para abordar esto, Andermatt Brasil realiz\u00f3 tres ensayos de campo replicados para evaluar la eficacia de Bb-Protec\u00ae contra la broca del caf\u00e9. Alyson Ara\u00fajo<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-advanced-heading uagb-block-eda501a1\"><h2 class=\"uagb-heading-text\">Un compromiso con la investigaci\u00f3n y el desarrollo futuros<\/h2><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>En colaboraci\u00f3n con el Instituto Federal del Sur de Minas Gerais (IFSULDEMINAS), Andermatt Brasil contin\u00faa investigando sobre soluciones sostenibles para la producci\u00f3n de caf\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esta asociaci\u00f3n fortalece el compromiso de la compa\u00f1\u00eda de ofrecer productos innovadores y respetuosos con el medio ambiente que mejoren la competitividad global del caf\u00e9 brasile\u00f1o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-advanced-heading uagb-block-85098b89\"><h2 class=\"uagb-heading-text\">En conclusi\u00f3n:<\/h2><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Bb-Protec\u00ae ofrece a los caficultores de Brasil una alternativa eficaz y segura para el medio ambiente a los insecticidas qu\u00edmicos. Se puede utilizar en la producci\u00f3n org\u00e1nica o como parte de un programa de MIP.
